East African party anthem

A question was twitted, twittered - whatever.

What is your favourite EA party anthem?

So far i am spoilt for choice. What are your selections?

I am feeling Nameless’ Salari. banging track that.

Then how can we dance without Si Lazima To-Do, Nonini and P-Unit.

And even after being bashed three ways to Thursday, Banjuka, DNA, still makes the cut.

I love the composition and arrangement of this one, it is suitably flippant. We at Eleet have it highly recommended!

Do have a blast this weekend!

i’m still kinda hung up on the tichi song. not sure how to dance to it though

I’ll go for Nameless (Salari) and Wahu (sweet love), but the ultimate party anthem for me is Obsessions (Jangu).

    What’s an EA party?

party anthem for me would be that ‘tugendakusula mungato” song. guy’s name. that does it for me everytime. Ofcourse the obsessions’ ‘Jangu’ is classic!
Nameless’ ‘Salari’ is nice though. love it. Banjuka isn’t old yet. not yet!
    let’s go party!
a ‘blasty’ weekend to you too!

I came here for the sole reason to win socks and I haven’t. I’m freezing.

Banjuka is hot. I love Fire-EABC.

But I’ve always liked Kleptomaniax’ Tuendele.

kale 3, you have left detamble out… detamble its basically a song by any East African artist that you really like… EA is short for East Africa(n)…

also feel Jangu by the Obsessions, even Rhys likes it. but my all time favourites are still by E-Sir; Bamba, Moss Moss and Kamata

Ohhhh :-( But I don’t think I know any EA songs. I like Angelique Kidjo, Youssou N’Dour and Femi Kuti. But I don’t know if they’re EA or even particularly A. I think they emigrated…

31337t… (can’t we just keep it down to Intel)
Remember that track whci had Amani, Nameless, nina-noki niki skia… and company when Ogopa Djs were allover the shiznit!
I think it was off their first compilation!

and there was a track by Lyrical G called East African Party…

and some track that Chameleon tripped off Professor Jay….
    his version was massive
    massive

and the one he did with Professor Jay was banging as well…

    Hola!

Ngeli ya Genge - Jua Kali! Timam song

    I always liked Furahiday…. Nonini and Nameless…

“Githurai” is the one that did it for me.

remember binti kiziwi? bongo flava is a hit, though i have no idea how to dance to those songs either…

Salari by nameless is classic, so is Jangu by those ug chicks, who remembers that song for E-Sir and Nameless..Kamata? was a hit and still love it..

once in a sea of mediocre local songs, we get real classics..

    Furahiday by Nameless and Nonini!

“Ni saa kumi ya jioni na nisakia kitu rohoni, niko ndani ya ofisi and I’m feeling kind of uneasy”- classic!

anyone notice that the EA tracks be in swa? (the jaaaaaaamming ones) most of us cant even understand them. A ba Uganda muli wa?

    lol… tandra. wetuli.

Tandra… all this time I been trying to teach u swa… na bado.

    Banjuka!
    Furahiday
    Si Lazima
any juacali hit!! he is blessed whn it comes to the mic..not so in other areas*

Banjuka is my favourite of all one hit wonders.

    Not feeling Salari.

Everybody (meaning even my mom & pop) loves Bembeleza

    I kinda like Utado warr

am confused too much to choose from. I love UG songs though i dont understand Luganda especially Chameleone, Julia, Obsession. Some bongo Flava matonya-anita, Nyota yangu-TID, TMK Wananume, Jnature-hakuna Kulala among others. At home i will go with Nameless, Wahu, Wainaina, Nikki, Collo of Klepto
