I do. Really? I had forgotten for a bit that is. I stumbled upon it late this afternoon and wondered how it had happened. Its simple, really. Its called broadband, then somewhere along the way stumbled in work, limping along on its last legs, and at that it has quite a few, so that was quite a feat, that. Took me away from my precious laptop for a longer spell than i am comfortable with, nasty business.

I got this connection, see? It tends to have this totally fascinating and totally absorbing ability to drop totally innocuous and absolutely useless files of ten megabytes [i have read speeds in excess of 200 kB/sec] in under a minute, yes, that is right, at times i hardly even see a flash before i see the message, “download complete”. My previous connection [AFOL] took its sweet time about things like downloading, and displayed an awful lot more disdain for loading pages and totally ignored others and if pushed all it managed to do was mangle very important and extremely well thought out comments, edited and on hitting publish, it decides to have very permanent amnesia, and no power on earth and part of the heavens would convince it to regurgitate said.

Most fascinating has been you tube. I can finally watch a video without buffering, in fact i can watch them in HD! It comes at a steep price but heck, if i cant spoil myself who will? Blasted waste of time videos load hundreds of times faster than you can watch them. There is a brief spell in the evenings between 5pm and 7pm that it is touch and go, and it slows a smidgen when the free calls kick in between 11pm and midnight but then if its not within those times downloads swing in on chariots of fire, hence that smoky woody whiff you might have caught as you logged on.

So that has been what i have been up-to the past couple of days. Where have you been, since evidently you have not been stalking my blog, or has my statistics manager also knocked off and is lying about some beach for spring break? So for now i shall be knocking about your blogs as i think of more fascinating things to discuss on this here my blog, now that i have rediscovered it after that not so brief sojourn.
